Privacy Policy

How Laterium collects, uses, and protects your information.

Draft / placeholder. Our formal Privacy Policy is being finalized and is not yet in effect. The summary below describes our intended practices and is provided for transparency only. When the final policy is published, this page will be updated and dated. Questions in the meantime? Contact us.

Overview

Laterium provides multi-site project management software. We collect only the information needed to operate the service, support our customers, and keep accounts secure.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide, such as name, email address, and company.
  • Content you create in the app, such as locations, projects, tasks, and attachments.
  • Usage and device data generated as you use the service, used to keep it secure and reliable.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security, and updates.
  • To respond to support requests and demo inquiries.

Sharing & service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers (subprocessors) that help us operate the platform, or where required by law. Our current subprocessors are:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (where your account and content live).
  • Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (notifications, invites, password resets).
  • Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never store them.
  • Sentry — error monitoring. Reports are scrubbed of personal data before they are sent.
  • Cloudmersive — malware scanning of uploaded attachments.
  • Upstash — request rate limiting (processes IP addresses only).

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your workspace data is enforced at the database layer through row-level security, and uploaded files are served only through short-lived signed links.

Data retention & deletion

Your content is retained for as long as your workspace is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from your account settings — this removes your login, profile, and workspace memberships, and we email you a confirmation. Records you contributed to a workspace (notes, task history, approvals) are retained by that workspace but no longer identify you. Workspace owners can request full workspace deletion through support.

Your choices

You can access, update, or request deletion of your information, and unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time via your notification preferences.
